Sie sammeln den t\u00e4glichen Abfall der Stadt ein, trennen diesen und bereiten die Wertstoffe zur Wiederverwertung auf, um sich ihr Einkommen zu sichern. Die <em>zabaleen<\/em> geh\u00f6ren somit zu den weltweit in_formell organisierten waste reclaimers, die aufgrund der oftmals fehlenden staatlichen Strukturen eine effiziente Dienstleistung anbieten. Wie stellt sich diese In_Formalit\u00e4t in Kairo im Aushandlungsprozess zwischen <em>zabaleen<\/em> und Staat her?
